File saving error .\..jpg

I’m nee to RawTherapee, and i have just finished editing some property photo’s to get warmed up to the software. Every time i try to process the images to 8-Bit JPEG into a folder i get the following Error appear - ‘File saving error …jpg’

Not too sure why the error is popping up and i would love to see if anyone could help? These are RAW images i’m editing.

Cheers

Ben

We need more info. Don’t need a stack backtrace, but we do need the rest.

3.) File Browser to find RAE NEP Images
4.) Manipulated images using editor - only really changed exposures
5.) Added to queue for processing - selected file to save to as 8-bit JPEGS
6.) takes a moment with no loading times or anything on th screen then just pops up error

What’s that?

and, do you have permission to save files to the folder you’re saving them to?

Are you on a Win 7/64-bit machine?

Hi there - RT 4.2.1005 for Windows Vista/7/8/10 64-bit - fast

3.) File Browser to find RAE NEP Images ---- its the third step i took- i used the ‘file browser’ on the top left in RawTherapee to brows for my Raw NEP file to edit.

The link to the original raw image i am trying to save once edited but cant: https://filebin.net/ue2c4a9yw68tdddv

The link to an screenshot taken with the error message that pops up after i attempt to process the images and save into a file: https://filebin.net/c1rufbc3ntziq171

And i do yes, its just a personal laptop.

I’m a bit of a newbie with this - what would i have to change this to? cheers

Here’s an example:

With this setting your images will be be saved into a subfolder with the name ‘converted’
Edit: This subfolder will be created automagically

RAE NEP – I guess you mean RAW NEF?

Thanks heckflosse, all processing now!

You have guessed right, great input

Don’t let us guess, write what you mean. There are about 5000 raw formats around.

For some reason I can’t seem to save images, they don’t appear as a JPEG only with lines of text. Is there a way to fix this?

a) What do these lines of text say?
b) Operating system?
c) RT version?
