Thanks for the reply. So I found where it should go, the export line, then added the other two, still nothing.

Start a terminal.
Type these commands:
cd ~/.config/darktable
grep strip darktablerc
What is the reply?
Windows 10
Then
find "strip" darktablerc
The cd
command will also be a bit different.
I am having the same problem with Windows 11 and Darktable 4.8.1.
Could someone tell me where I would find “darktablerc” so that I can attempt to try the solution above.

Thanks. This worked, and the solution above solved the problem.
The reason I could not find “darktablerc” was that AppData was a hidden file. After making hidden files visible, I was able to find the folder; “darktablerc” also was visible to a file search.
