Fish for dinner ...

I had the opportunity to photograph seabirds at the North Sea during my vacation. Here is a somewhat dramatic picture of a common tern feeding its young.

This is really good.
Simple/uncluttered and elegant/successful composition, a nice grayscale image with the red accent in the beak - and the image tells a story.
Can perfectly well understand why you put this up under Showcase. :slight_smile:

Really nice image
I had the chance to see and Photograph little terns on the Norfolk coast last june. I was not allowed to photograph the nesting aera. It was fenced off and there were two guards keeping a eye on them. Put still managed to get some good photographs.

Yeah i know yours is more about the birds itself. What i like about the images i took is, that you can see how they manage to survive in a harsh envoirements on the coast
