FITS result file in 1.2 beta is three channel but in 1.06 it was four channel - do I need to reset something?

I have just upgraded to the latest beta SIRIL. I was using the last stable 1.06 version before. The same RAW colour data is much paler and looks overexposed in the result.fit file and SIRIL shows it as three channel when before it was shown as four channel. Is there something I need to reset after the upgrade to get this to show as four channel again?

Peter

Hello, I’m sorry I don’t understand what you mean by four channels, where do you see that? Siril never supported more than three channels for colour images, there is the possibility to mix four channels in the RGB composition tool.
What is your type of input image? It would be surprising if the same data gave worse results in 1.2, can you show us the images perhaps?

I am inputting FITS RAW files from a full frame camera and saving the results as TIFF 16 bit. The Result fit file shows 3 channels but the TIFF files from my earlier saves show four channels (per the message on the SIRIL screen when I click on the file from the SIRIL OPEN command).

It may be correct and I have nothing to worry about but the file looks different visually from previously. The first upload is the message now and the second upload as before.

Kind regards,

Peter

Nothing has changed in the way we read files.
