Unreal fog during our recent vacation at the baltic sea. I have a ton of similar pictures at night and day … wonder what you would do with the colors in this image?
That was fun. I’ve been playing with some mist photos lately and trying to get away from the contrast eq, and instead using D&S.
I still used contrast eq with this one as I needed to eke out a bit more haziness to my liking.
DT 5.0, Windows.
Color Balance negative value Chroma and highlights helped me a bit. Rotate and crop, highlight reconstruction, and just generally worked through the scene referred workflow from left to right.

Its funny when I noticed this playraw submission I had just watched a video about the new blender release…they have a glare node that looks amazing and has bloom and fog settings… it looks like it would be great for manipulating concert lights as well…

I had often used hlr in filmic to fade and bloom lights and extreme highlights …I guess I should explore other ways as well…
