XTFO8106.RAF (23.0 MB)
Hello everyone,
That’s my first submission there!
I’ve had a hard time getting this result out of this take few weeks ago, this was with my X-T4 and the XF18-55.
The files are shared in CC BY NC, author: XS
I hope you’ll enjoy playing on it. Cheers.
Edit: Added XMP file and replaced the image with a reduced one.

So I went for a more dramatic sky using second instances of exposure and local contrast in DT4.9.

This way, we can clearly distinguish the big light spots from the sky.
I can’t really tell which one approach the best the reality in my souvenir. It was maybe something in between martin’s, Lbxk and your first one.
GIMP two layers.
Base:
Original, elliptical selection feathered 150 px to tone up the ground, applied 7px USM.
Top:
(Fiji) Contrast-Limited Adaptive Histogram Expansion (blocks 127, bins 256, Contrast Limit 2.0), (GIMP) elliptical selection inverted to tone down the sky, 50% Opacity.
… came out a bit stark but with the sunlit area well emphasized …

I think I prefer it cropped; the bright patch of clouds at top middle was drawing the eye.
Welcome, @Iksou , and thank you for sharing!
