My edit was done in darktable 5.3 - hopefully the XMP will load ok in 5.4 as the version I’m running was only just before feature freeze.

Lovely picture,

Tried to keep the contrast low and selective warming of the light. Used new ‘local contrast rgb’. Didn’t try your .xmp file. Hope you’ll be able to read my .xmp.

Sorry, I read after editing that you are on 5.3 and I used the agX module, so I don’t think it will open properly but I don’t know. Anyway, here is the history in case you are curious about that.

Hopefully I didn’t diminish this nice image. I tried to emphasize the warm side and the cold side, in addition to the distance. Also tried to subtly bring up a little detail to give interest. A little Orton effect might have been nice but I didn’t go there since it already has plenty of natural Orton effect.
