My favorite from todays photo walk. I like the colorful storefront and the framed subject. Had fun while editing so I thought you would too

Hello,
Nice and graphic look through the window.
I tried to emphasize the artificial light of the scene while preserving the reflections of the glass.

Playing with the luminance; darkening the sides to bring focus inside the shop

There’s so much going on, this shot really benefits from the focus your crop gives it.

Here is my version, using darktable (20250412_0039.ARW.xmp ) and a preliminary version of positive film Kodachrome 64 with agx-emulsion.

Yes. Back in my SLR film days, Kodachrome 64 was my film of choice, except when I knew I was going to be in an exceptionally sunny environment, I loved Kodachrome 25. The colors!

This is one way to draw attention to the main subject.

Absolutely! I tried the main and dev branches of AgX-Emulsion but it seems the pipeline is yet to be finished to be added to the GUI. Something that works regardless of the camera you own is always beautiful even if you don’t like the way it’s done, the idea is enticing regardless.
