Hi,
I have a fujifilm X-T50 and when I try to edit the RAW files in darktable, it tells me that they are not supported. Will support for RAW for this camera be added in a future update? If so, I would like to know when it could be available.
Thanks.

Welcome!
There is a pending PR providing support: Fujifilm X-T50 support by kmilos · Pull Request #720 · darktable-org/rawspeed · GitHub
There is no estimate to when it will get merged in - if not the imminent 4.8.1 patch release, then it’ll be for 5.0 in December.
The good news is that you should be able to enable it manually just by editing the cameras.xml
file.
NB: As usual for all recent Fujifilms, this only covers uncompressed and lossless compressed modes, not the lossy.

Hi David and anyone else with an unsupported camera, if you use Adobes free DNG converter that would be a stop gap solution for any unsupported camera while you wait for support to come.

lossy or lossless compression? the x-t5’s lossless compression works fine, I imagine x-t50 is the same format
