A quick note to let folks know I’ve finished re-organizing @jdc’s (monumental!) game changer tutorial page into a set of 9 linked pages. All of @jdc’s text remains, only it is now parceled out into a separate page for each of the 8 tutorials and the ‘guiding principles’ introduction. Hopefully I’ve also captured all of the contributions from @Wayne_Sutton, @syyrmb, and @SCHA over the summer as well.
Thanks @jdc for all your work on the original tutorials, and for checking my edits. If anyone notices any broken links or images, please let me know.
I think the new documentation is still a “work in progress”. But it may have progressed far enough now to be linked (labelled as not yet complete) alongside the original version on the main RawTherapee site.
hmmm, i started to add the german translation, but failed somewhere. Even hugo was installed properly, i only could upload some files as a pull request, which was refused. i dont know what i did wrong…
Hey there! I am going to be bumping that, because I happen to be a brand new user considering switching to RawTherapee and it took me several days to understand that the wiki was not undergoing maintenance but was actually down and migrated. Using a search engine for “rawtherapee wiki” or “rawtherapee documentation” it is almost entirely links to the incorrect site that appear, and things are made worse by the main site, old wiki and new wiki all having the same icon. Changing the destination link of “Documentation” on the main page is absolutely necessary, but in terms of SEO the old wiki should absolutely be shut down for the new one to be easy to find. This confusion is really not something you want new people interested in RT to encounter first. Thank you to whoever can get this done, it would be very helpful!
