My take: Mostly crop and white balance, with final sharpening step…

Looking at your edit, I realize that I have been too aggressive at cropping and introduced too much ‘darkness’. I will redo this one later…

That’s one of my favorite places. Nice image!

G;MIC’s dehaze is as close to a polarize filter as I’ve run across. Had to do a lot of other things that, for a filter guy like myself, was tedious and I had to stop somewhere. lol

Forgiveness in advance if I missed a spot (and speaking of spots, had to heal a lot of waterspots in the sky as well not to mention denoise).

if it helps, I was there on a pretty hazy day because of wildfire smoke that had settled over the city.

I found it as well not easy to find a pleasing crop. And regarding brightness I am probably not right, if I interpret the last post of @my_dad correctly.

I figured that, so I left my edit hazy.

The geology of it is interesting. IIRC, the plate tectonics were squeezing the earth’s crust into a right angle position (what had been horizontal became almost vertical). It has remained that way for millions of years.

A beautiful picture. I adore clouds.
This edit uses another version of my AgX DFS for emulating Ektar 100.

Nice! My take, wanted a fairly light interpretation with a bit more to it in the sky. Cropped a bit on the left hand side. Some dust removed.
