Geeqie 1.4 core dumps on a symlink copy – Mint Linux Tara
I’ve been running Geeqie 1.4 for several months but never tried to copy a file as a symlink, from here to there before. I am looking at a directory of symbolic links. Trying to copy from asymlink core dumps every time.
If I look at a directory of real -type f images the copy works just fine. Only symlinks are causing trouble.
Seems like you should report this on the geeqie github page!
@pittendrigh compile the latest from git, my script makes that easy, and if you can still reproduce, then file a proper bug report in the correct place.
Ok. I did (after the fact) put this as a two line report on GitHub issues
I won’t make that mistake again.
Geeqie is good stuff. I can’t live without it. Thank you for the software
