Just installed 2.10.4 on my Win10 Pro 64bit desktop. However, when I launch GIMP I get the following error twice, before GIMP opens:

Installing GIMP again, as suggested in the message text, does not solve the problem.

Did not take long for that to get fixed.

You need the latest installer, which downloads as gimp-2.10.4-setup-1.exe

Thanks, that now works fine. However, the issue with the R-channel is still there, also in the new version. The R-channel is only changed for RGBA TIFs not for RGB TIFs.

At least the copy/paste bug (when you use external programs) has been fixed. Happy about that.
