I am using MacOs Tahoe (26.3-1). I have installed Gimp 3.2. I opened GIMP. The computer had been in sleep mode overnight. When I woke it up, GIMP had frozen. I had to force quit it. Using Gimp 2 this behaviour nver occured. Any suggestions?
This might just sound really careless, but I don’t mean it that way:
I suggest you save next time before leaving the computer overnight.
As for the problem itself, report it with a bug report. That should help it get fixed.
Thank You for Your suggestions. I think also, that this is the solution. But if you have a Mac, you tend to put the computer to sleep when you’re done working for the evening. You don’t shut it down like you would on Windows and close all open programs.
