Gimp and SVG Files

I am new to this forum, how well gimp works with SVG files, my work is mainly for SVG and vector files…i use other softwares right now…

GIMP can import SVG files but then you will get a rasterised layer and loose all the benefits from an vector file. GIMP is not a vector software, you should use Inkscape instead.
