Earlier this year there was a Gimp update the seemed to break EXIF data write that came with an error message saying the image couldn’t be written. But an image is written without EXIF.
Shortly afterward another version of the Gimp was released and the problem was solved.
Recently, with yet another Gimp update (latest stable) the problem as reappeared. This not influenced by the use of the copyright field (from what I can tell) as reported/discussed in 2023. Before submitting a bug, I thought I’d pass it by the community here first to see what you think.
Is it me? Or am I missing something in the software? Or…???
