I’m not sure if any one asks for this before, but at some point, with GEGL for GIMP, and Krita’s existence, I find that it might be useful to have G’MIC treats existing layers of many types as possible and final rendered image before G’MIC as images to process for G’MIC. It might even make G’MIC adjustment layers/mask system easier to implement.
I might be slow, but this does not make a lot of sense.
It means that I would like to see G’MIC have the option to treat non-paint layers as paint layer in a new paint layer. Think of adjustment layers. It treats all the other layers below as images to process. Or think of visible as new layer, and apply G’MIC.
