An absolute difference comparison between two images from an exercise with @garagecoder. Clearly, we aren’t doing the same thing. Anyway, it happens to look like an abstract desktop wallpaper.

Nice result! Good call by the author to increase saturation prior to filtering.
A glitter filter? That is what I would use it for.
