Good case for Sony RX10 IV

Hi all,

I have tried the Megagear hard leather and foam cases for my Sony RX10 IV, but wasn’t satisfied with either. I wanted a case that would be compact, but would allow me to stow my camera with the lens hood on, including in shooting position. I found the following: " CADeN Compact Camera Shoulder Crossbody Bag Case Compatible for Nikon, Canon, Sony SLR/DSLR Mirrorless Cameras and Lenses Waterproof(1.0 S, Grey)" on Amazon and it holds the camera with extended lens hood and strap, along with batteries and other accessories. I’m pleased with it. It is protective, but I can get the camera out quickly.

if there as good as the RX 100 then there is a case for using them in the other sense of the word

helpful to know this sort of thing

I have had similar issues recently but i’m reasonably fortunate to have a camera shop nearby who have some good solutions

It’s good to be able to try things i worked in a camera shop in the same City , closed 10 years ago and also one in London in analog times

I think those that don’t have an online system as well disappeared blaming phones

Was a really nice job in the 20th century when there weren’t sales targets

i have an RX100 mark 4 which because of its high depth of field means I don’t think I need to upgrade

I needed another carrying system though which allows me to have a range of cameras including that one for social photography

I ended up with two aluminium cases that fit in a small rucksack and the Dorr yuma DSLR case plus a belt case for an RX100 mark 1 I use as a standby in case I’m called on unexpectedly to take snaps

Well I think that’s enough useful information back to form

When I was that the london camera shop there was the london hurricane which was a big deal for us at the time

Anyway Michael Fish infamous as you can see for saying it wasn’t going to happen came in shortly afterwards wanting a film

Nobody would serve him so I did even though he was wearing a much louder jacket than shown
Michael Fish denying Hurricane, so wrong
