Grade my RAW please

Hi everybody

This is not a spectacular image in any way or sense, but that’s why I’d love to see how you would grade it.

This is the thumb from my camera (Sony ZV E10)

This is my grade:

I’ve added a

Kodak Ektar 100 LUT
deepened the colors with RGB Primaries
dialed down chroma with Color balance RGB
Quite a lot of sharpening with diffuse or sharpen
enhanced her eyes with a high pass in overlay blendmode
Added two vignettes with two vignettes modules.
Added a bit of red and and green in the blue channel in the color-calibration module to get rid of a yellow tint

All in all I think it’s a nice picture, and that my grading has enhanced it nicely

It would be great inspiration to see what you guys come up with!

I think you want the play raw category
assign a license to the file
depening on which country you are in … it might be problematic to publish photos of people without their consent. did you check that?

The woman in the picture is a very well-known politician in Denmark, there are loads of pictures of her all over our local media. Besides I know her personally. So while i did not obtain any specific permission, I am quite sure it’s alright

Thank you guys - this has been immensely interesting to me.

Basically there seems to be two lines of grading: the ones that preserves the yellow and the ones that eliminates the yellow to some extent.

I can understand the urge to crop in on her face. She is objectively good looking, and her pose here is quite interesting. What is she listening to? What is she thinking. But I also like the full crop, it places her in the situation.

Thanks a lot guys - It can get lonely to just grade pictures by yourself, and your versions have been worth a thousand comments to me!
