I am presently trying to tame a semi-newish mobile phone camera. It does have a will of its own, but I must say that I make a little progress, day after day.
So: what on earth might this have been before it was processed in RT and further treated in The Gimp & g’mic?

My guess is colored coffee filter
Random guesses are that it is cured meat, geological or parasite in @Claes. I hope you appreciate my humour.
Off the top of my head, I’d guess it’s a snowflake.
My guess would be the cross section of the stem of a plant.
My kid says it’s the inside of a pomegranate.
Some kind of flower I guess…
