I’ve noticed a somewhat peculiar behaviour in dt that has been there for several versions:
If I open a drop-down list, including the full program window list of shortcuts displayed by shift+h, and then switch program by Alt+Tab, the drop-down list remains visible on top of the other program.
I don’t know if others also experience this on other set-ups. I run dt on Linux Mint 20.3 Una (based on Ubuntu 20.04.)?
System Information gives me no info on GTK version.
I’ve seen that others report GTK version to be found with the command inxi -Fxxrz, but when I try, I seem to just get the same info as under System Information.
(No “tk:” label to be seen at all, which I see in others’ reports precedes the data on GTK-version.)
Is there any other way I can find an answer - or is that the answer?
(As for flatpac and the sake of good order, (as you probably understand, I’m not a techie guy):
I note that there are a couple of active apt repos under /etc/apt/sources.list.d/alexlarsson-flatpak-focal.list, but I have no folder .var/lib/org.darktable.Darktable/config that I’ve noted should be there with a dt flatpac installation.)
I revert to this little nuisance, that persists after several upgrades.
I’m currently running dt 5.0.0 installed from OBS on Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.1 (based on Ubuntu 24.04).
The GTK version is 3.24.41.
Comparing with other programs I use, I note that in them program switching with Alt+Tab doesn’t work as long as there is a drop-down list activated within the program window. In dt, though, such program switching is allowed, but with the effect that the drop-down list remains “on top” of the screen after the other program window has gotten focus.
