Hardware recommendation for Darktable (Linux Mint)

Hello,
I hope this topic fits in here, as it is only marginally related to Darktable…
I’m new to Darktable and have recently been toying with the idea of switching from macOS to Linux (Mint). My current hardware (Apple M2) will probably be difficult to use for this.
Therefore my question: Can you give me a recommendation on what hardware (notebook approx. 13") would be suitable for Linux (Mint) and what should be taken into account? (e.g. processor, RAM, graphics chip) I assume that Darktable is my application with the highest requirements. Not everything has to run super smoothly, but it should be easy to work with for a few years.
I find the notebooks from framework interesting, but I have no idea which of them are suitable for my purposes.

I have a13" framework AMD, and it runs darktable pretty well. What really makes dt sing is a GPU, and it’ll be rough to get a good GPU in a 13" laptop.

I have a number of really old computers dating back as far as 2006. Linux Mint just lets them work so well. On one desktop I added a dedicated graphics card which DT really appreciates. So my recommendation is to get a machine with a good dedicated graphics card, but listen to more experienced Linux users here as my main machine is a Windows laptop with a dedicated graphics card.
