When I went out yesterday to shoot, I stopped my van and parked near a spot I was going to look at. As I went around the side of my vehicle to get my gear I noticed this chair just sitting in a random spot and thought it would be an interesting subject. The light was nice and I took several photos of it.
If you’d like, have some fun with it.
Awesome capture!! The color of the chair’s fabric reminds me of the orange jacket Dean Stockwell wears in Paris, Texas (1984), which is what I tried to model the color grade after. Thanks for sharing.
I felt the need to position the chair differently in the frame to give it the emphasis it deserved. I was tempted to desaturate most of the image and leave the chair alone in color, but in the end decided against that. P1140349.RW2.xmp (12.7 KB)
I’d thought about cropping it as well, but was really focused on keeping the shadow cast from the chair in the photo.
Not sure why…just thought it should remain because I spent the effort to capture it
