The photo is overexposed. The photo has multiple chromatic aberrations. The photo has poor definition.
The aberrations have been corrected.
The chromaticity has been corrected by taking into account:
The gray of the steps.
The blue sky in the background (it was not intentionally removed).
The door is not white, but the frames of the upper windows are.
The cat’s black fur is black.
Based on these parameters, the colorimetry has been adjusted.
Unfortunately, it is not possible (or I haven’t been able) to recover the texture in the white of the door.
Very late to this one and spent a lot of time on it once I got started. I liked your original crop and wanted to run with it, taking the door as the subject, rather than the cat.
This includes some very dodgy masking to clip the foliage and repair the shadow on the steps, with some subtle hue shifts, vignetting and bloom to lean into the Wes Anderson-ness. ![]()
