Hi,
I am using RAWTherapee only for exporting of raw KDC files (which are large) to JPG files. It works generally great, but pictures with worse light are exported in very bad quality, although the original one isn’t so bad. In the attachment you can see two images - first one, PNG screen shot of original KDC file, and the second one, which was done by RAWTherapee export. You can see, that JPG image is much worse, than PNG. How can I make “nice” JPG file (at least as attached PNG quality) directly with RAWTherapee?
You can otherwise just adjust the black level, or use a curve where the lower left point is traslated a bit on the right, maybe copying and pasting the profile to every picture took in similar conditions.
Hi,
thank you all for very fast response and great suggestions - the problem was really in profile. For dark pictures is the generic “Equilibrated” profile the best.
