Historical pelican

It is nearly 6 years since I captured 27 frames of this pelican, but I had yet to attempt processing any. This is probably my favourite capture, but the bright sunlight on the background proved a distraction.

What is also remarkable is that Australian Pelicans are usually almost entirely white. A small amount of flush in breeding season usually only affects upper chest, some of the neck and bill. It is possible that this bird had stained plumage due to polluted water.
