History stack reset dt 3.6.1-1

Hi there-

I’ve notice that trying to clear the history of an image either in the darkroom module or in the lightable seems to not really clear my history.

The images had a style applied (in a batch) after import.

I’m on Manjaro Linux running darktable installed from the official Manjaro repository.

Have you set any of those modules to autoapply to raw files or a specific camera…if so they will be part of a compressed stack?? Also I am assuming your before and after are exactly the same as you have one image…

The reset history button in the light table, discards all the history… Which means it resets back to default. So you will get the workflow defaults and any other presets or modules you have configured to auto apply.

You can also reset the history stack while beeing in darkroom mode: click on “0 original” at the bottom of the history stack and then on "compress history stack.
