How do I cancel an export job in Darktable?

I am exporting 1000 images, but DT is exporting each image twice. How do I stop the export job(s)?

I tried exiting DT, then killing the DT process. I tried deleting the DT lockfiles.

Each time, when I restart DT and start a new export job, each image is exported twice.

Backgrounds jobs are displayed on bottom left of darktable (bottom of left panel). You have a cross to cancel.

Thanks - I knew about the background job display, but only just noticed the little X beside the job name!

In fact the real problem is that the DT database was corrupted (my fault) and each image in the collection has been duplicated - so of course each image appeared to be exported twice.
