Hello. A beginner’s question with Digikam. How can I import my images by renaming them with a simple number? Would this number continue uninterrupted with other imports?

In the queue manager, there’s a tab for renaming files. A custom schema can be defined here. However, I couldn’t find out if you could apply the treatment as soon as you import.

Another solution is to instead import using a memory card reader and the USB Mass Storage driver.
NB: I use Rapid Photo Downloader for my needs. It can rename files during import.
