I already knew the rough outline of Kodak’s history but also learnt some new tidbits, like Digita OS, the ‘universal camera operating system’. … … …who knew?

I went on a wikipedia spree the other day reading Kodak’s entry, specially their slow “downfall” and it’s pretty sad how it all happened. It was bad decision after bad decision. For example: they invested a lot into printing as film was going out of style, since they thought people would still print their digital photos, but then social media came to be and nobody wanted to print anymore. (I don’t know if he explains this in the video, still yet to see :slight_smile: )

Damn, those DCS Pro 14n pictures are stunning in a way. Those older digital sensors had a certain magic to them, it’s hard to describe. Or maybe it’s placebo :smiley:
