You’re mixing things you shouldn’t. color calibration needs its input to be in camera referred mode (using the camera reference multipliers). There are two ways to do that:
white balance in camera reference mode
white balance in as shot to reference mode.
The second works better with demosaic etc.
The only condition under which you should use white balance in any other mode with CAT in color calibration is if your camera’s matrix is wrong. This is described in the manual.
