How to change the value rate of certain sliders?

Hello, i am trying to set keyboard shortcuts for all the main sliders… i face an issue regarding the exposure and whitebalance… for me is a very small step the rate value of 0.02 of exposure, i would like to have the ability to change into a difference value bigger, also maybe a different shortcut for a secondary value

exposure mode 1 : rate value 0.10
exposure mode 2: rate value 0.50
exposure mode 3: rate value 0.02

Also for the white balance currently the step is like this from 6000 when u move once rate slider it goes to 6010 and so one would be nice to have the the power to do this

white balance : with + 100 +200 +500. as from 6000k to 6500k etc

also could help for other modules i belive

Regards

You can do this already. Go to preferences->shortcuts->views->darkroom->change keyboard shortcut slider precision to set a shortcut that allows you to toggle between normal, fine and coarse precision (though note that this applies to all sliders).

To set the multiplier that each of these uses you’ll need to modify $HOME/.config/darktable/darktablerc. Look for the following options:

darkroom/ui/scale_rough_step_multiplier=10.0
darkroom/ui/scale_precise_step_multiplier=0.1

this is exactly what i wanted!

Thank you !

would be nice, to define for each module to be affected for rough or precise.

i need a mix btw them, damn

Have you tried the ctrl & shift modifiers ?

That only works when directly interacting with the sliders, not with shortcuts.

Ah indeed ! I read too fast.

unfortunetly , it does not work with shortcuts
