How to disable pink on blown highlights in images?

Thanks Todd. Since I have calibrated my displays and the problem is not with my camera I may not try this. I am just intriqued that I don’t get this problem on 4.2.1 (albeit Linux) but I do on 4.3 on Windows and was wondering if it was a bug that needed reporting. If I was the original poster I might be really annoyed with the pink highlights in Lighttable.

I don’t know darktable particulars in this, but generally if you suspect a particular component, disabling it should tell you something about its contribution. If you can disable your display profile in the installation where the pink is not present, if its tone curve is driving the highlights to remove it they should re-appear.

The problem I think still can be with DT and certain display drivers…

So here for example in darkroom… at 100% so should be accurate is first with perceptual

Now in the LT display it shows pink but it is a sort of in between image and it doesn’t change when you change the rendering intent…

I have seen other instances were certain previews in DT don’t match up… I am

I hear you. I have a different flavour of Linux on a laptop I will see what I get…
