How to do a radial gradient in darktable?

One of the techniques that I liked using in Lightroom was a radial gradient to enhance lighting and focus attention. When trying to replicate in darktable, I can only seem to do a linear gradient. Is a radial gradient possible in darktable?

@ayro and @s7habo I would like to say what makes darktable so much better for me than LR or Rawtherapee is the masking capabilities. You can draw the shape using a circle, ellipse or my favourite paths option and then feather and blur the radius to get an invisible seamless transition. Also make sure to read the manual to understand how these drawn masks can be managed and the same mask used across multiple modules. The parametric masks are another powerful option in Darktable. Darktables masking makes LR’s masks look pretty sad in my view. I am not trying to knock LR, but just want to recognise one of DT’s strengths.

Hi Boris
Sorry to bump an old query.
I can only get this radial effect in DT if i play around with the feathering radius, blurring radius and mask opacity. In your screenshot these sliders are not used.
I notice that in your older exposure module it has spot exposure mapping whereas in my 5.50. +1343 it has just area exposure mapping and no drop down list that the arrow would indicate.
Is this just one of those things in how DT has changed in 4 years or am I missing something obvious?

hi, I’m guessing you haven’t adjusted the two circle attributes/radii by using the mousewheel and shift+mousewheel. Here are the two radii -

and the resulting mask -

This is with 5.4.1
