When reading the manual darktable 3.7 (development) user manual - darktable every now and then I feel I have to edit/improve a page or chapter.
But when going to darktable/dtdocs @ Weblate I don’t see a way to find the page I was reading and now want to improve.
Did I miss something?
If so … can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Not sure if you can find the individual pages but you could do a string search for the paragraph you want to improve. You can then see “nearby strings” too.
It is not done by page, but roughly by sentence. There is a search function in Weblate that should help you out.

I have been happy to support the project with my translations of the release articles for some time.
But I’m not a professional translator, just an engineer. And so I work iteratively over larger blocks of text to combine accuracy of content with readability that is suitable for use. And this is not what I can do here 
This is the down-side of sentence-by-sentence string translations. Sometimes to achieve something that’s coherant you need to work on a page as a whole. I think I’d probably have the same issues as you.
That’s the word I missed …
Sadly this is the same as saying “I don’t work with functions, I only work with whole features” as a software enginner or “I don’t work with individual steel beams, I only work with the whole bridge.”
The corupus is split into segments so we can leverage pattern matching and reuse bits of text we have already translated. This works extremely well in the long run since we may adjust phrasing or change terms, but we shouldn’t be rewriting whole, huge chunks of text now that we are past our first round of translation. We should be refining our language and aligning our terminology.
I’ve started looking on how to import the PO files from the software itself so we can use it to make sure all the terms line up in the documentation.
Since we are a community, I feel like you should work in concert with your other translators, not just make your own decision to rewrite things on your own. The best thing about picking up weblate is that allows for a community of translators to work together, instead of one person alone in a PO file.
I don’t say it’s a bad thing altogether.
I just say that it’s not the way I work in that I don’t feel comfortable and don’t think I could throw in some valuable input.
That’s sad indeed in that I looked into this and asked because I was looking for a way to contribute.
