Hi,
Is there a way to save the autostretched version of an image. Sometimes I like to just save that for time saving rather than stretching it myself.
Thanks,
Steven

Yes. In the histogram transformation you can apply the autostretch. But I do not recommend doing that. There are better ways to stretch your image.
Thanks. Well I use it as just the basic stretch to get it soaked for 16-bit precision before I do my fine tuning in Affinity.
Is there something specific about the auto stretch that causes you to recommend against it?
This is too simple.
Try the statistical stretch. It is better.
But manually adjustment amis always better.
I realized the command line command “autostretch” does exactly what I want and I now use that. Again, my final stretching is with Affinity as I like the use of layers
I’ll download and give statistical stretch python script a test.
