I wrote a beginner tutorial for Darktable copy & import

I welcome any constructive feedback! You can find the article on my blog. The target audience is new users of Darktable who haven’t used other software such as Lightroom. I tried to make the process and the underlying concepts as clear as possible.

I’m thinking of writing more tutorials as well, mainly as a way to consolidate my own understanding. I plan to write on filesystem organization for images next.

I am really pleased to see written instructions. I learn best by following text rather than videos. Keep up the good work. It would also be great to see your hard work linked to the resources page of DT. Great work.

I tried to follow that link, but my firefox wouldn’t want to go there because of security risks. Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

Thanks for the heads up. I can’t reproduce the error on my end and SSL Labs’s SSL checker showed the certificate was valid, so it might be a temporary issue or maybe something browser-specific. If you’re still having trouble accessing it, try clearing your cache or opening the page in private browsing mode. Hope that helps!
