i2c-activation in install-little-backup-box.sh

Hello,

at the end of of the install-script it gives a message “Almost done! Enable I2C and reboot the system.”. Users have to do this in raspi-config. This could also be done inside the script by this line:

sudo raspi-config nonint do_i2c 0

… is there a way to contribute? I have some ideas:

  • index.php: Add links to the available other services on the device
  • ip.sh/config.cfg: Add an option for html-mail and send links of all available services; Alter subject to something like “Little Backup Box: actual IP”
  • notification after backup: Alter subject to something like “Little Backup Box: Backup message” and send the log-output

That’s a really neat trick! I’ve added it to the installer script. Thank you very much, Stefan!

Kind regards,
Dmitri

Of course! Are you familiar with GitHub?

Not too much, I’ll find out.

If you don’t want to deal with GitHub, you can send your changes directly to me, and I’ll integrate them myself. My email address is dmpop@linux.com

Whatever approach works best for you. Thank you very much for your kind offer of help!

Dmitri

P.S. Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch.
