I’m looking for an alternative to Ligtroom.
So I installed Darktable and I am actually very excited.
But one thing is missing or I haven’t found it yet.
How can I impotieren and display small movies (mainly made with the mobile).
Is this possible and if so, how?

Why though? Darktable isn’t movie editor.
I don’t want do edit the Movies in Darktable.
Just having all media files on the same place.
All cameras this day are not just made for making pictures…
So when I make a short movie (for example 30s), I would like to have it at the same place as the picture I made 2 seconds bevor.
darktable is a raw developer. Plaese have a look a https://www.darktable.org/ and perhaps the user manual “darktable 3.4” in the darktable usermanual . It seems to me that you are looking for software to organize your media files. darktable is definitely not the preferred tool for this purpose.
