Import defaults in darktable

I’m pretty sure this has been answered before, but I can’t figure out where I saw it through searching, so I’m just gonna ask.

When I import images into darktable it assigns a default base curve to the image. I’m not a huge fan of it, I feel it comes out too contrasty and blows out the highlights way too often.

How do I change the import profile so it will apply a custom curve, or even just import images without any adjustment at all?

NVM, I found the answer on a different website thread. (no wonder search on here didn’t work!)

For those with the same question I had:

then save yourself a new base curve preset to auto apply to whatever perimeters you want.
