In all, In One of, in Tree

Hi,

I’m trying to understand the dropdown menu right to the tags dropdown.
The documentation doesn’t seems to mention it

I’m a bit puzzled. Can any one explain this to me ?

I can selected tags returning items with tag (check many tags in the dropdown menu), In all…But in all “what”?
Obscur also is:

I’m using the french translation… and I don’t understand that translation neither :sweat_smile:: “In one of” is translated as Dans un par…

Has anyone a clue of the parameter in digiKam 7.6.0 ?

Edit: I was completely wrong, ignore!

Just a guess, but I think it’s referring to which metadata fields the tag is stored in. (Those are in the metadata section of the settings dialog).

In All: All selected tags must be present in the image.

In One Of: One of the selected tags must be present in the image.

In Tree: All images that are also contained a tag in the tree of the selected tags.
