IRC - register your nickname to join

Some of the projects here, such as RawTherapee and darktable , as well as the PIXLS.US community in general, use IRC for live chat with other users and developers. There is an ongoing botnet attack on the Freenode network, as a result of which all affected channels were advised to only allow registered nicknames to join, so I wanted to let you know about this and how to register your nickname:

  1. Join Freenode.
  2. Send a message to nickserv and follow instructions:
/msg nickserv help register
