Iridient vs Markenstijn demosaicing

Xavier, thanks for the detailed post.
Of course I wasn’t hoping for 3 numbers and be good in any situation… Your reply is useful now that I’m starting to understand the CS behavior a bit.
I dismissed CS at first just because I tried the auto optimization on a few images and I was unlucky it was working really bad with those settings. Moreover I forgot to turn off the normal sharpening, so it was a disaster.
Anyway, now that I found the ballpark values for my sensor/lens/subject I’m quite quick to converge to a decent solution.

Thanks Ingo,
I remember reading your post 2 years ago and forgot it entirely.
Now it’s all clear.

Hello, intersting post, but I’m sorry, I’m new to RT and can you give the exact interest in using it with FujiX files?
Can you really achieve near foveon quality all accros the frame ?(I’ve got the Dp2 merrill too, fan of the IQ and plan to someday re-use it in b&w alongside the fujis).
What are the parameters to use? Please…I kinda lost…

@David_SANCHEZ Posts with RT examples may include the *.pp3 sidecar. If not, the processing may be embedded in the JPG. Also search RawPedia for clues.
