hmm, youre asking for Darktable, which i am not using at all.
From your question i understand, you want “less” overall green, here my try in RT 5.12_RC2 by mainly modifying the whitebalance and RGB-curves:

I wasn’t sure about the green problem but I set the color calibration module to 5000K to try and get the color like I might expect from daylight. DT5.1.

You’re absolutely right, but sometimes you can’t see the wood for the trees. Of course, as is so often the case, the white balance is very important for the right colour impression.
My attempt. I did an ever so slight adjustment to the yellow flower in Color Equalizer.
Is this PlayRaw for DT only? Can I post here results from ART?
The general concensus is that all FOSS solutions are welcome in PlayRaw so go ahead and do an ART edit.
ART with AgX. Kodak Ultramax 400 film on Kodak Endura Premier paper seem to give rich greens for this photo:
