I’m thinking of implementing a median fallback as a option in case there is no mode colors. Other ideas? Like, mixing dominant colors and averaging them? Let me know what you can think of.
For those wondering what rep_mode_blend, it’s a command that generates a image that represents the most common color at x,y,z throughout all images.
Nope, it is a future problem when I have the time to update my filters/commands.
The only thing I might suggest is it might be useful for you to have a page to demonstrate your more visual or output type filters, like a combination of the GIMP blend page and G’MIC manual or demos. That might give more visibility to your work. Or, you could just create a forum thread/wiki that collects all of that. Not asking you to do more work; just an idea.
As for the idea itself, up to you. It does sound good, but we will not know until we can get a hands-on or demo.
