When I use an external image editor to make some changes to items, is it possible to save them in such a way that digiKam sees them as versions of the original item?
I tried adding “_v1” to the file name, but that is not enough for digiKam to see them as versions, apparently. Are version relationships stored in the database only, or maybe in image metadata? Is there a function in digiKam to join versions after indexing the items?
