Is it possible to select only edited images?

Hello guys,

What I am trying to achieve is to select all the images which have additional editing steps beyond the mandatory ones (so basically all the images I edited in some way). I need this, so I can export them at once. I’ve checked all the filter options but couldn’t find a suitable one.

Is there a way to do it?

To do it per filmroll:

New rule → history → choose what to show

Or for all photos:

Works like a charm, thank you!

There’s also the tag darktable|changed:
image

The history filter shows:
image

I exported one of the images:
image

So, it is now unchanged since the last export; exported increased to 7, changed decreased to 30.

history still shows:
image

I now changed that same image in the darkroom:
darktable tags:
image

exported remained at 7; changed is back at 31.

history still shows:
image

Then, I discarded the history stack of the image.
darktable tags:
image

It remains exported, but is not considered changed.

history filter:

It’s no longer altered, is registered as auto applied; basic remains unchanged.

(Later I found sometimes history did not seem to update; I may check this later and raise an issue if needed, but since I don’t really use those filters, it’s not a priority to me.)
