Issue with Swap disk using Siril 1.2.4 (MacOS Ventura 13.6.7)

After installing SIRIL 1.2.4 (instead of 1.2.2) it appears that the disk used for swapping is incorrect (Mac Mini with 1 SSD (Applications) and 1 HDD (for data))
HDD is used for all storage (even if known as less efficient / quick).
After installation SIRIL 1.2.4 indicates the available storage of the SSD instead of the one of the HDD
Even after pointing to a dedicated directory on the right disk (HDD), the amount of available space is not refreshed and Calibration of lights remains impossible
No issue with 1.2.2 (HDD used correctly)
No crash of SIRIL only error message indicating that the available storage is not sufficient to perform the lights calibration.

Hello. Yes, we are aware of this bug. And I think I’ve found the (very stupid) cause. We’ll fix it for the next version.

Hello
Indeed this works fine (at least as in 1.2.2) with the second version pushed
Regards

Have the same problem and the fix doesn’t really work for me. Actually, if anything it made it worse…
In this case -assuming it’s related- the workdir is being set to an external NVMe drive (on exfat, as I share it between different OS’s): when changing to it Siril reports “Disk Space: N/A” in red, and any attempt at doing anything fails claiming 0 bytes of disk space available.

Sonoma 14.6.1

HTH, and thanks for the great work

Hello.

This bug has been fixed for the next release

When will this be released? Siril is pretty useless when it thinks it has no available disk space.

You can use 1.2.3 version for now.

I tried building the git version (1.3.3) on my Mac, and while it does change the behaviour of the swap directory slightly (it now says: “Disk Space: N/A” when setting the swap directory to my external disk) it still halts processing saying “Not enough free disk space to perform this operation: 0 bytes available for 11.9 GiB needed (missing 11.9 GiB)” even though my external drive has almost 2TB free diskspace.

I will try to figure out why it fails to correctly read the available size.

Yes please do. None of the Siril devs work on macOS. Help is always welcome.
