Was a bit of a numpty and deleted the xmps, doh!
From what I remember for 22:26
exposed so as not to blow any part of the sky, darktable recovered the shadows remarkably well
lent heavily on CBRGB. That gave a strong yellow on the walls
killed that by reducing saturation in colour eq, masked so not to alter elsewhere
pulled a lot of detail in the clouds using a local contrast recipe by @nwinspeare
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWyCbGHE3C0
(thanks for that, worked a treat)
the usual corrections with a lot of exposure and a ton of tone eq.
the road number had to go. Positioned camera so it was over a blank piece of wall, all the easier to disappear it.
Over to you. I’ll have a pint of plain thanks.

I find myself awake in the middle of the night waiting for a sleeping tablet to take effect. But I have these lovely images to keep me company.
This edit is very unusual for me. I used base curve for the tone mapping. It somehow helped to bring out the colors in the sky.

Oh wow, especially the second one gives some strange Gregory Crewdson vibe … well done .
It looks like the xmp metadata is still in the jpegs (did only check the second one). You can just load the .jpg instead of .xmp as metadata and your editing will be recovered.

This picture lends itself to so much interpretation. Especially color. I feel the scene was lit by a strong yellow light and tried to retain this in my first edit here.

Very nice, impressive result with the base curve. Not something I’ve used much.
Sleep tite…
I emphasized the lighting and the colors

Well that was far trickier than I anticipated. Thanks for providing an image where none of my typical presets worked
